After graduating Cum Laude from California State Polytechnic University, Dr Hughes received his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated as the class Valedictorian. He went on to complete a residency at Detroit Medical Center, Michigan State University, achieving the rank of Chief Resident as well as Resident of the Year. He then completed fellowship training in Urological Oncology with Metro-Urology in St. Paul Minnesota.”
Finding a competent, caring urologist in Orlando can be a challenge. Especially when you are new to the area or suddenly, like many of us, find the need for a specialist in urology, for yourself or a family member.
While there are many urologist in the Orlando/Winter Park Metropolitan area, finding one just isn’t that easy, I found.
A urologist that is skilled, established and has great bedside manners. One that won’t rush you and and is on time for scheduled appointment.
I found Dr. Hughes to be all that and he has a support staff that is compassionate, professional and cares about the practice and the care a patient receives. They are easy to talk to from discussing a new patients appointment, the insurance accepted, etc. and any other questions you may have. I found Carla, in scheduling, to be exceptional when I called for an appointment and Kady, nurse, very professional and engaging when taking my vitals.
Dr. Scott Hughes, DO, Orlando urologist, works with Adventhealth Orlando and AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and…is accepting new patients. He was on time, comfortable and personable and a pleasure to have seen. I recommend Dr. Hughes and this practice without reservation.
