So, What is Physical Therapy?

The treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.

What is the role of a Physical Therapist?

A physical therapist is a licensed and trained healthcare professional who’s role is to improve the patient’s life by offering and teaching techniques as a possible alternative to prescription medications or possible surgery. They help prevent or restore mobility by creating individualized fitness and heath orientated programs.

They provide their services from private practices, outpatient clinics, hospitals and other locations. For me, I had physical therapy scheduled after my In-Home Therapy and my two week follow-up with my surgeon.

REMEMBER: Don’t do ANY EXERCISE other than prescribe by your therapist!

This website list and endorses Health Care Professionals that pay a marketing fee and some that do not. However, ALL Orlando Health Care Professionals are endorsed and recommended based on ours, or others in our network, personal satisfactory experience.
