Suicide Help Now
Call 988 Now For Crisis Help
Suicide help now…how profoundly important are those three words and this page? All of us have had moments where we are just simply overwhelmed. Where healthy, normal thinking gives way to anxiety, depression and a sense of loneliness and hopelessness that seems like we will never get pass.
It’s a time when reason and good judgement seems to give way to a mental state and a loss of interest in everything and everybody.
Most of us eventually will get past it. But for others, it’s a terrible realty that can seem endless and eventually takes a toll that becomes almost unbearable. That sense of loneliness, desperation, fear, etc, can be a result of many different conditions and reasons;
- Genetics
- Environment
- Social
- Marriage
- Financial
- Employment
- Mental illness
- And on and on
If you need help, it’s so important to reach out and get help from people that care and understand. Some of the people that can be a option are;
- Primary Care Doctors: In many cases, your primary care doctor may diagnose and treat your mental illness. They’ll refer you to a specialist when needed.
- Psychologists: They usually have doctoral degrees (PhD or PsyD) and are trained to provide professional counseling on psychological and emotional issues.
- Psychiatrists: These professionals are medical doctors who specialize in the treatment of mental, emotional, or behavioral problems.
- Psychoanalysts: They can be psychiatrists, psychologists, or social workers by training.
- Holistic Doctors: Doctors like naturopaths (NDs) are specialists in complementary and alternative medicines, holistic medicine, nutritional medicine, and herbal medicine treatments.
